Canvas Prints are a stunning way to display your favourite photos, wedding or family portraits, and they make great personalised gifts. Why spend a fortune on artwork, when you can create gorgeous customised prints from your own precious images? Canvas We use premium quality 100% cotton bright white, water resistant canvas. This canvas is archival rated and specifically designed for fine art and high quality photographic reproductions. We do not use cheap or inferior poly cotton canvases made in China. Inks Our large format Canon printer uses Photochromatic LUCIA 100% pigment, light fast inks in a 12 colour print sequence, with the manufacturer's stated life expectancy in the order of 70 - 90 years for colour and 200 years for black. Pigment inks produce significantly better colour definition and higher quality images, when printed on canvas or museum quality archival papers. Lamination All canvas prints are finished with a UV resistant liquid lamination coating, to reduce print surface marking and damage, to provide dust and fungal resistance and increased print life. Stretching (Framing) The most popular way to display canvas prints is to attach or "wrap" the canvas around a timber frame - called "stretchers". We use 17mm (slimline) and 38mm (bold) giclee stretcher bars, made from plantation timber. We also offer a choice of framing styles with either "gallery wrap" or "border wrap" - please contact us for more details. Fine Art Papers Green Leaf Images also offer a selection of Fine Art Photographic Papers. Our papers include GreenPix 100% Recycled Matte Fine Art Paper, Cotton Rag Fine Art Paper and classic satin matte photo paper for high quality enlargements.
